Chinatown - Dim Sum

Ben couldn't join us for Dim Sum. So it is just Ryan and I. We went to Kam Fung. It is 11:25 and what a line up! We lucked out and had a table right away since it is for two only.

Ken's family, Mike, Michael,Mom and Dad was there for Dim Sum too.

Apparently my cousin Betty was there too as per mom. Dim Sum was a big disappointment since the majority of the dishes we were hoping for never appeared. Having travelling all the way to chinatown and not get what you want makes you think twice before going down again.

Got groceries. Saw mom and gave her a lift.

Took a vacation day today. Ryan took the whole week off work. My friend Mary took a vacation day too. So the three of us decided to go to Marche Centrale. Shopped for about 1 1/2 hours.

Lunch time! We wanted to try the Lebanese Restaurant Ken told us about which is suppose to be very good, but Ryan couldn't remember the name of the restaurant. So we ended up at Nostos. I wanted to try that place out too. Nostos is a Greek Restaurant on L'Acadie Blvd.

I had the Calamari served on a bed of rice, french fries and salad. Ryan had souvlaki and Mary had chicken brochette. Delicious! After lunch, we headed to the Sweet Lebanese place. Mary bought some date squares. I didn't get anything surprisingly. Have to start watching my weight. Love to eat, hate to exercise. Still love to eat mmmmmmmmmm.

We headed home and what traffic at 2:30 in the afternoon! Dropped Mary off then headed home. Ken and Ryan went to play tennis in this hot hot weather! Amanda, Kristen and I played mahjong. Alexander was drawing. Then we three ended up drawing too.

About an hour later, Ryan is back from Tennis. Too hot! No kidding.
