Gangs In Our Neighborhood

What has become of our youths these days? Where have the parents gone or do they prefer to bury their heads in the sand? Ok. That wasn't fair. There are alot of good kids around.

It started around 8:00 in the evening. Mom saw a police cruiser speed away from behind the high school and go down a side street.

A little after 10:00, while Ben was having his cig outside in the backyard, he hears alot of yelling and lights flashing.

By the time Ryan and Randy got home around 11:10 in the evening from a concert, they saw 5 to 6 police cruisers around the north side of the high school. There were about 30 to 40 youths hanging around.

Come sunday news, apparently around 2:00 a.m., one of the youths got stabbed and was taken to the hospital. The news think it was gang related.

Why can't people just get along instead of fighting each other? People just don't learn.

Mary's Belated 50th Birthday Supper

Celebrating at Carlos & Pepes on Peel and St. Catherine.
We both had Burrito Marisco: Seafood (shrimps, scallops and fish) with mushrooms in a creamy white sauce wrapped in a tortilla with cheese. Served with rice, advocado, guacamole and a salad.

Cheers! The Sangria was alright. I prefer the Sangria at Bar/Club St-Sulpice on St. Denis. Next time, I will stick with their mixed drinks which is their mango drinks or margaritas (a cocktail consisting of tequila, lime or lemon juice, and an orange-flavored liqueur) or daiquiris (a cocktail made of rum, lime juice, and sugar). I think those were the ingredients.
